Melinda's Dolls

Hi,

I'm Melinda and I just wanted to give you a little background on myself and my husband Rick who I could not promote the shows without!  But don't let me forget to mention our daughter's and grandkids whom also help.  It's a family affair, everyone is involved to some extend.

I got into collecting dolls like many of you!  I started with my dolls for my childhood.  Then quickly developed a love for the antique dolls.  Still to this day my collection consists of a little of everything from Hildegard Gunzels wonderful modern works, to vintage and the fascinating antique world.  My favorites are the Pouty Kestner's.  My most prized doll is my Great Great Aunt Reesies doll, she's a Jumeau.  Oh and I almost forgot about the Teddy Bears, I love them too!

We have be committed to producing  quality Doll and Teddy Bear Shows.  Our Motto is "Keep it fun and Enjoyable for all."  We are always looking for ways to attract the younger generation into the Doll and Teddy Bear world of collectibles.  We really want to keep the hobby alive and healthy.  Our vendors are not only vendors but they are our family.  We enjoy seeing them at each show and catching up on family news.

Melinda's Dolls will continue to provide seminars, demonstrations and fun topics of discussion at the shows.  We look forward to your comments and suggestions.  Let us know how we can make a better show for you!
